BIOGRAPHY
With about 30 years in software development and testing with different consultancies, Bernard Homès is a senior member of the IEEE, belongs to the IEEE Standard Group in charge of IEEE829:2008, is a former member of the IEEE board in France; author of “Les Tests Logiciels - Fondamentaux” (ISBN 978-2-7462-3155-9), editor of the ISTQB Advanced Level syllabus, and president of the French Software Testing Board.
A senior consultant in process improvement, with international experience in safety-critical areas such as Health, telecom and Aerospace industries in Canada and France, Bernard has given numerous interviews and spoken at a number of international conferences and universities.
Bernard also provides software testing trainings and consultancy services worldwide via the international consultancy TESSCO Technologies inc. based in Europe and Canada.
Bernard is the president of the CFTL, the French Software Testing Board, and chairs the Advanced Level syllabus Working Party of the ISTQB.
