To Be, or Not To Be (Agile)? Considerations and Challenges when (if) Moving into Agile

linetzki 2012Speaker:
Alon Linetzki, Principal Director & Test Expert, Best-Testing

“Agile is an iterative and evolutionary process approach to software development which is performed in a highly collaborative manner with ‘just enough’ ceremony that produces high quality software to meets the changing needs of its stakeholders.”

While this definition (and others similar to that) is the message that is communicated to the world, many companies are in debate if they should get into Agile, and what are the consequences and impacts they foresee going through that change. A lot of other companies move into Agile from the wrong reasons….

I will present challenges that the Agile Manifesto presents vs. our day to day life, and also present an assessment model suggestion, including 5 aspects of evaluation to whether a company is ready to move into Agile, and what are the consequences (or preparations) of moving to the Agile/Scrum model.
