Salvatore Reale has twenty years experience in R&D, and in particular in software development for large corporations, where he served for several years as Director and VP, with responsibility for product line.
Since 2007 as Head of Quality & Process in Italy within R&D of a multinational TLC company, he spent significant part of his work as manager of the program for introduction of Agile Development methodologies in Italy. He trained with specialized courses from 2007 to 2010, and later on taking part in tutorials and workshops in the United States and Europe with some of the leading experts in Agile and Scrum.
From 2008 to 2010 he was a member of the international team of Agile Coaches for the same company. He dealt with a detailed training program, which involved about 300 people and was oriented to the formation of Product Owners, Scrum Masters and Team Members, with the realization of 3 pilot projects.
Salvatore is a Certified Scrum Master since 2008 and is one of the first to have achieved certification as a Scrum Professional in Italy. Currently, as a freelancer, provides consulting, within which Agile Coaching and Training are the most important items.
Salvatore is co-founder and member of the Board of Directors of ITA-STQB, which is the association that in Italy carries out the certification of ICT professionals in the areas of software engineering. He is also Board Member of REQB®, founded in 2006 by a group of international experts with the main objective to create a standard framework for the activities of Requirements Engineering.
Harry M. Sneed (Quality Engineer at ANECON Gmbh Vienna, Docent at Universities of Dresden & Regensburg in Germany, University of Szeged in Hungary, Technical High Schools of Vienna & Linz in Austria).
Harry M. Sneed has a Master's Degree in Information Sciences from the University of Maryland, 1969. He has been working in testing since 1977 when he took over the position of test manager for the Siemens IT'S project. At this time he developed the first European module test bed – PrüfStand - and founded together with Dr. Ed Miller the first commercial test laboratory in Budapest. Since then he has developed more than 20 different test tools for various environments from embedded real time systems to integrated information systems on the main frame and internet web applications. At the beginning of his career Sneed worked as a test project leader. In between, he worked in software development, maintenance and migration. He became famous for his work in reengineering and wrapping of legacy software in the 1990's. His career in teaching began in Italy at the Universities of Naples and Benevento where for several years he taught reengineering in the masters of software engineering program. Now, at the end of his career, he has returned to the role of a software tester for the ANECON GmbH in Vienna.
Dorothy Graham has been in testing for forty years and is co-author of four books: Software Inspection, Software Test Automation, Foundations of Software Testing, and Experiences in Test Automation. She helped start testing qualifications in the UK and was on the working party that devised the ISTQB Foundation Syllabus. After 19 years with Grove Consultants, she now focuses on giving presentations at conferences and events, and writing. Dorothy holds the European Excellence Award in Software Testing and the first ISTQB Excellence Award. She was named one of the 13 Women of Influence in testing by Software Test & Performance magazine in 2010. She was Programme Chair for EuroSTAR in 1993 and 2009, and for ExpoQA in 2014.
Mark Fewster, Grove Consultants, has over 30 years of industrial experience in software testing ranging from test management to test techniques and test automation. In the last two decades Mark has provided consultancy and training in software testing, has published papers, and co-authored two books with Dorothy Graham, "Software Test Automation" and "Experiences of Test Automation". He is a popular speaker at national and international conferences and seminars, and has won the Mercury BTO Innovation in Quality Award. Mark has served on the committee of British Computer Society's Specialist Interest Group in Software Testing (BCS SIGiST) and on the Information Systems Examination Board (ISEB). He is currently helping ISTQB in defining the expert level certification for test automation. In Grove Consultants, Mark provides training courses, ISTQB training materials licensed by many international organizations, and consultancy specializing in test automation.
