Andrew Pollner

Andrew Pollner is President and CEO of ALP International Corporation, a leading organization in the area of test process improvement and in the use of test automation tools to bring efficiency and effectiveness to the testing process, since 1993. As an early adopter of test automation and quality assurance tools Mr. Pollner has built a consulting and training practice serving major financial, insurance, healthcare, and telecommunications companies and government agencies to ensure their successful implementation of software testing and surrounding processes. Mr. Pollner has published articles on software testing and automation and regularly speaks at major national and international testing conferences. Mr. Pollner is a director of the American Software Testing Qualifications Board (ASTQB) standardizing tester certifications in the US and chairs the Test Automation Engineering working party for the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) worldwide tester certification body.

Geoff Thompson

Geoff Thompson

Geoff is the Consultancy Director for Experimentus, a quality consultancy based in the UK and working globally. He has a real passion for software testing, test management and process improvement.

He is a founder member of the International Software Testing Qualification Board (ISTQB), the TMMi Foundation, and the UK Testing Board and is currently the Secretary of the ISTQB and Chairman of the UK Testing Board.

He co-authored the BCS book Software Testing - An ISEB/ISTQB foundation.

Geoff is a recognized international speaker on software testing, keynoting in many conferences.

In 2008 Geoff was awarded the European Testing Excellence Award, and in 2015 he was awarded the Software Testing European Lifetime Achievement award.

Salvatore Reale

Salvatore Reale has more than twenty years experience in R&D, and in particular in software development for large corporations, where he served for several years as Director and VP, with responsibility for product line.

Since 2007, he spent significant part of his work as manager of the program for introduction of Agile Development methodologies in the R&D of a multinational TLC company in Italy. From 2008 to 2010 he was a member of the international team of Agile Coaches for the same company, with some of the leading experts in Agile and Scrum.

He dealt with a detailed training program, which involved about 300 people and was oriented to the formation of Product Owners, Scrum Masters and Team Members, with the realization of 3 pilot projects.

Salvatore is a Certified Scrum Master since 2008 and he is one of the first in Italy to have achieved certification as a Scrum Professional. Currently, as a freelancer, provides consulting, within which Agile Coaching and Training are the most important items.

Salvatore is co-founder and member of the Board of Directors of ITA-STQB, which is the association that in Italy carries out the certification of ICT professionals in the areas of software engineering. He is also Vice-Chair of REQB®, founded by a group of international experts with the main objective to create a standard framework for the activities of Requirements Engineering.
